Yama Sushi – Las Vegas, NV

This was our first time visiting Yama Sushi. It’s about 2-2.5 miles from the strip, depending on where you’re staying on the strip. Before we went to Vegas, we checked out Yelp LV for food joints and this was one of the ones that caught our attention with good reviews.

They are open all 7 days from 11AM to 11 PM and they don’t take reservations.

We went on Thanksgiving day, during lunch time (11:15 AM-ish) and it was $20.99+tax per person.  We didn’t have to wait in line but noticed people coming in constantly after we got seated. If you decide to go during dinner, it’s $23.99+tax per person.

Here are some of the things we ordered. We loved them ALL.

Some of the things we ordered: Double dragon, Yama crunch (hubby’s fav-he doesn’t eat raw seafood), Sun of the beach, Fire cracker (twice), Hawaii, Man whore, Strip tease, Kiss the ass, Wet dream, Happy ending, Rainbow, Uni (my favorite), Unagi, Halibut, Yellowtail, Albacore, Tuna, Seafood salad (not sure if it was on the AYCE menu but waitress recommened to us because we were taking out rice from our sushi. Heheh…), and green tea and mochi ice creams as desserts. I’m sure I left out few on the list, but you get the picture. 😀

Yama Sushi is a must-go. Price is good, service, selection, and quality of food are all amazing. Everything was fresh. Food came out fast. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Huge selection. And not too far from the strip. WOW! Definitely a 5-star on our opinion.

Lunch for $20.99 per person includes appetizer, sushi, sashimi, rolls, salad and dessert. AMAZING!
