Today we’re reviewing on Shinhwa Vegetable Dumplings.
We bought this at a local Asian grocery market for $0.99. It has 20 dumplings in a bag.
We’ve tried many different frozen dumplings before and we tried this with expectations of
tasty fillings and nice flavor or veggies.
Yum or Yuck?
His Review: I would have to say this vegetable dumpling did not meet my expectations…. I thought they were going to be really delicious when I looked at the bag but I was wrong… It’s funny how looks can really be deceiving. I would have to say it was decent but way too greasy for my taste… the vegetables inside tasted very mushy and just did not fit my taste buds… To be honest… I went to go throw up after because I felt sick because of the grease… Also I had to eat it with ketchup to give it some flavor because it was just bland without any sauce.. Just to be nice.. I would rate this a 2 star ★★☆☆☆ 😦 Definitely will not be on my shopping list again.
Her Review: I bought this for $0.99 on sale and has 20 dumplings total. First impression was hopeful. It had different shape and it got me interested and excited. It cooked okay. Took me a little loner than instruction but came out golden. Now not so excited part… As he mentioned, these were really bland and greasy. I only put in 1 TBSP of oil to cook it and it was still greasy. Inside fillings did not have much flavors. It said spicy flavor but did not have spicy nor any other flavor. Another thing that I did not like about it was that because chunky green peppers that was inside the filling. Eewww…. 😦 So you have it here. I’m giving it a 3 star for the value, but 2 star for taste. I’ll be nice and give it a 3 star overall. ★★★☆☆
