[Veggie Patch] Mediterranean Spinach & Chickpea Patties

Have you tried this?

Veggie Patch’s Mediterranean spinach & chickpea patties $9.99 at Costco. 12 patties in a package.

Yum or Yuck?

We bought this and put it in the freezer, so you can see the ice on them.

Let them sit on the cookie sheet and preheat the oven at 375 degrees. Once the oven is ready, slide in the cookie sheet on the middle rack and cook it for 13 minutes. Once it hits about 12 minutes, you can start smell the deliciousness.

We cut them in threes. They look exactly like in the picture on the package. You can see whole chickpeas and chopped up spinach. Eat them while they are still hot.

His Review: I tried this for the very first time at Costco…where they give out samples of products.. I didn’t think much of it because it was spinach…After I tasted it, I was amazed! I couldn’t believe this pattie tasted so good…It kind of tasted like a miniature burrito but it wasn’t… soft in the inside and crispy on the outside… I would have to rate it 5 stars ★★★★★. Currently I’ve finished approximately 2 boxes full 🙂 Warning! This contains a lot of fiber and might cause excess gas…

Her Review: I love this!!! When I first tried this at Costco (from the sample lady) I had no idea this was a veggie pattie in the beginning. It smelled really good so I just tried it. When I found out that it was made with spinach and chickpea… I was really surprised, because it was soooooo yummy! Highly recommended! I give it a 5 star ★★★★★.

  1. I also tried at Costco and brought home and froze. Did not know how to prepare/use after heating so I put it on an English muffin with greek yogurt-balsamic vinegar-curry sauce I made and then added mixed greens and tomato slice and ate as on open face sandwich. It was great!

  2. I put them in my toaster oven at 350 degrees for five minutes, flipped them, put some good cheese on top and let it get nice and melted. I found them at my local Fresh to Frozen discount store–three patties to a package for $1.50. Very good price and a cheap tasty lunch.
